TECHNIICAL INFORMATION The core technology of ASB SYSTEM lies in
its characteristics of reducing the recoil energy
if a rope breaks.

Anti Snap Back Line up

ASB SYSTEM

With loads exceeding the minimum breaking strength of the rope,
the kinetic energy generated when the rope is broken is immediately transferred in the tensile direction of the rope,
and the resulting Snapback phenomenon poses many risks. The ASB system can reduce the 'Snap back' phenomenon
by absorbing the kinetic energy of the Core Rope, thereby creating a safer mooring environment.

Safety for your crew

ASB (Anti Snap Back)

  • Enables the rope to get more slowly broken compared to other general fiber ropes
  • Reduces the recoil of rope and the “Snapback” zone by inserting a core rope
  • Not influencing its basic performance in use
  • Floats, perfectly suitable for mooring application
  • Wet strength equals dry strength
